a bunch of April

Max is a lover of cuties. LOVES loves loves them. One day he sat at the window looking out while peeled and ate 3 if not 4 just so contently and happy. That sweet boy of mine.

It's about once a month that Max asks to hold the babies. When he does it makes my heart really happy It lasts for literally 4 seconds before she says "all done!" and starts wiggling himself away from them making them fall in all directions. Quinn was especially enamored by him here.
That jean blanket my mother helped me finish years ago is getting CONSTANT use these days. Oh man how we love that thing.
Gotta figure out shade for the babies!
FHE.
The patriarch to be included in out FHE picture.
Enamored by the neighbor mowing the lawn.
Obsessed with climbing on bikes.
a. these glasses crack me up
b. Max insists on "climbing" trees these days ever since Casey showed him it was possible… Julie joined him this day apparently.
Had a garage sale with neighbors a couple weeks ago with friends. I don't know what it is but it's just fun to do/have/be apart of a garage sale. I can't believe how much stuff we all got rid of and how many people came through on a chilly borderline rainy day. The month of April had an overall theme of getting rid of STUFF from us and we feel a little bit skinnier because of it! For lunch at the garage sale we pizza'd it up with our friends. As you can tell Max was very enthusiastic, jk he truly loves pizza. But his face in this picture makes me laugh a lot.
After Max got his fix of being outside running a muck during the garage sale he ventured into our neighbors house to watch Dora (for a very long time) on this super cool blow up airplane with his favorite frenemy, Grace. Then he ran a muck of my neighbors house...
a. Scavenging cookies from unknown places.
b. The story of Casey and that blasted headset getting lost in the mail will forever be remembered in our family. A month long journey of endless phone calls to XBox, USPS, and FedEx, ugh. So annoying just because it made Casey so upset!
A new favorite hang out spot for Max.
a. I pretty much NEVER get the chance to hold sleeping babies so this rare occasion of a snuggle with Quinners was extra special!
b. The tulips this spring were beautiful!
a. Max making messes
b. Casey cleaning up messes.
The babies 6 months check up! And Max yet again, just ran a muck.
Our favorite doctor/nurse practitioner, Jamie! Oh man how I love that woman! She takes such great care of these kiddos and shows so much interest in our lives. And she always guesses the twins correctly amazingly enough!
QB
Max and these glasses were hilarious to me
Quinners!
Bryson!
Book Club with a really great group of girls. In April we read Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. I didn't get a chnce to read it although I did listen to her Ted Talk which was great and we had a really great discussion overall abut being vulnerable and motherhood and beyond!
I've been trying to go on walks as much as I can lately with such great not-humid weather. Babies were champs and fell asleep while Max played on the tractors at the tractor museum.
I'm not an ice cream fan usually but THIS stuff! Now this is a different story!!!!!! Hello yumminess!
This picture is upside-down but how adorable are these shirts! My SIL sent them to me because her and I are both Harry Potter fans and the Marauder's map leads back to the twins Fred and George!
My great friends took Max on a walk one day with them while the twins slept and I FINALLY got my dishes done! How great are these girls!
A rare occasion of docile Maxson during a particularly active day.
a. Kids got styyyyyyle
b. Our kitchen gets pretty cramped with the babies forcing their way in these days with the walker.
Bryson found his toes! Thus far Quinn has been the first to do most things (roll, balance better, etc) so I was very excited for Bryson to have  first first too!
a. A particularly cranky day of twinsies! Max was sleeping and they just wanted t be held! I really needed to get food made for a gathering that evening so carriers it was! Worked out pretty well! Bryson even began falling asleep in the back
b. Max is usually so happy to come downstairs in the morning to find the babies on the ground and greet them with hugs and kisses. They love watching his every move (and are beginning to grab his toys and face and other things he takes away haha).
a. Funny for him until he couldn't get out. Funny for me the whole time
b. Future gymnast (no I really have contemplated putting him in gymnastics in the future to harness that energy of his for good!)
a. Our (extremely rare!) Friday night date to the crepe place and then a bunch of errands afterward, ha.
b. If there's one to thwart the plans of family nap time it's usually Bryson, that baby...
I love when i find twins sleeping like twins :)

Whew! The end!

Congrats to you if you made it through it all!!!!
