a few last photos from kirky's wedding.

photobooth at kirky's wedding.
seriously so fun.
there was always some small group of people taking their pictures and being silly.
photobooths are just so fun.
1) casey and i pretended ruth was our baby all night, everyone believed me :)
2) i persuaded the brothers into doing one of our own. it was a hoot.
3) of course the cute new bride and groom.
4) weston flew solo for the weekend and had his own fun.

i also lugged the little polariod camera around during some of the wedding day.
some of my film is bad, but oh well.
it's still fun to have those pictures around,
even if some of them don't turn out perfectly.

Love,

true love :)

haha, no but really guys it's true!
when i first got this card from some cousins of mine {Jim & Jan Long}
i thought "oh it's so cute! and so true!"

then later as casey and i were shopping around for an apartment,
we joked and laughed about how a ring is like a down payment...
in a marriage!

you need a down payment on a house to signify you're fully committed
and ready for the long haul

you need a ring to signify you are fully committed
and ready for the long haul

can i just tell you that we laughed at our little idea for quite awhile?
i know, we're dumb :)

it's the amusement in the small things that's the best eh?

haha, well here's some more of the small things we've been experiencing in october

conference with myself, casey, scotty, and megan

so fun having them with us, conference has so many great memories for casey and me :)

to buy or not to buy?
the latter won, haha, jeeze
he looked like a yellow marshmallow!
{a very cute yellow marshmallow though :)}

yet again, to buy or not to buy?
ok, but we were serious this time, haha
we really DID like these!

registering at target!
the very hard decision in deciding which pillow is best

homemade smiley pizzas!
we tried changing our ways, and opted out of the $5 pizza one night
and bought a pizza kit!
it seriously was so fun!
homemade (well, kinda) has its own yummy touch

we went to casey's mission reunion for good ol' harrisburg, pa
it was fun meeting everyone,
they couldn't have had better things to say about my casey!
i was so happy to be his new and final companion :)
these are our fun friends from his mission, kelly and tim

Engagements uno:)

So here are some of our engagements we took...
not the really good ones that my wonderful brother Weston
{the soon to-be famous photographer (go looky at his sight!)}
took, but some from the fake polaroid pics.
hopefully I'll get Weston's really good/legit ones up soon.
We had lots of fun and the canyon was beautiful with color!
We did pick out a winner for the announcement!

But hopefully we'll go out again with him soon,
to get some pics of us not in nice church clothes...

PS- any utah county folks out there should TOTALLY contact Weston for pictures!

Yes mom, another polaroid picture :)

and everyone please note, casey's large and in charge backpack weighs
30 pounds at LEAST!
no exaggeration.

vintage film

Coolest borrowed thing EVER

Casey's dad has a Polaroid camera that was sitting in the far back of a drawer.
And so we decided to borrow it for a lil bit,
And I am absolutely in love with it!
We look like a couple straight out of a 70's BYU football game.
love it.
(and we love BYU!)

So yeah, polaroid film is expensive,
but it's so much more fun!
It is the pinnacle of instant gratification
we can't wait to play with it more!

This one didn't scan vary well
and lovely Karlee Jo's (Casey's sis) finger prints found their way to the pic
but I'm still in love with it!

Dear human being who invented polaroid: Thank you very much for the camera

And thank you to the people who are getting vintage polaroid film to be printed again in 2010!!!!
