3 fetuses.

1 new job.

1 new husband.

A lot changes when you haven't all talked in a year.

But even though we all haven't been together in 5 years, we can still talk and laugh for a good hour and a half on google hangout before the 3 hour time difference gets in the way of our fun. Wish we all lived closer. Love you ladies.

i had the most epic google hangout reunion with a few friends from aspen grove this week. seriously such a blast! these were some of my favorite gals and it was such a blast catching up on everyone's lives. 3 of us are raising our first little babies at home. 1 is married and works for an advertising company. One is finishing up a dietetics internship for grad school this semester. and 1 is finishing up her undergrad at BYU. 3 are in Utah, 1 in Cali, 1 in Missouri and myself in Nebraska. we have all different lives but that 1 summer working, living, and playing all together at aspen grove will forever keep us together. talk about a care free summer. never worried about food, bills, money, routines, friends, activities, etc. so many great memories.

this was actually the first time we've ALL been "together" since AG! there's always been one missing in person or through google hangout one way or another so this felt really special. what's odd is that all 6 of us have very loud/big personalities. we're all loud, bossy, outgoing, and mostly extroverts i think, so it's kinda crazy that we all mesh so well, ya know?

speaking of loud, i was really loud and woke up maxson at 11:30 pm though...mmeh

to you 5 ladies, thank you for cooperating .

and to all you AGers of 2009 out there who read my blog, shout out to you too! you know who you are (and i know who you are;)

ps- sorry andy, i know you'll hate that yours is the big face in this picture but that's just the way it is :/ at least you're pretty! speaking of andy, every blue moon she'll write a post on this little blog of hers and i always think they're hysterical

a little bit more of lately.

get togethers.

in the last 2 weeks i've had FOUR get togethers with some awesome friends!

1) freshman girls get together.

i love my freshman year, and i still love those girls very much!

it was so wonderful to catch up!

2) ward baby shower for stephanie and brooke, in our ward,

we have such a great group of ward girls, i just love it.

3) a bridal shower for my dear friend brooke! 

such a cute girl and so happy she's getting married soon!

one of the best summers of my life and so wonderful to catch up on life with these girls!
mrs. lindsay even has a baby due in august!

a plethora of friends

once of my absolute favorite parts about being back in utah is having a plethora of family and friends around! life is just better with people you know in it!

this last week was kind of a celebration of being back in provo with friends and family it seems.

brooklyn turned 8 during our family reunion but luckily she didn't get baptized til sept so we got to go!

this was an absolute hoot! we got about 15-20 of the girls to come over to my place and we just sat around and talked, laughed, reminisced, and learned new stories from current and past years of everyone! i just love all these girls to death! i hope we can continue doing get togethers while we are all here at BYU!

some of us girls who worked at aspen grove last summer got together bc it had been too long!

again, we laughed, talked, reminsced, and learned about everyone's lives!

we were sad kathryn and lindsay could not come though, boo. and again, too much fun was happening and no pictures were taked so here are some past ones!

me and 2 other of my cousins often are able to get together for fun, food, and games with our 3 husbands!

last night was no exception, intense cath phrase (casey always causes trouble), funglish (oober fun), and things (always connected w great inside jokes for future occastions)

went to the fist home game of the byu football season and casey's parents were able to get tickets too!

loved the game, the feel, the environment, everything about it!

and we also went to j-dawgs! best hot dogs in provo!

she went to the temple and then she got married

this last weekend was our last in Roseville, CA!

it's a bittersweet time :)

ha, but for our last weekend of funnes in CA we were able to go to a close friend of mines wedding reception!

she was andy the lifeguard at AG last summer

and now she's mrs. andy the wife!

we figured out her reception was only like a 2 hour drive so we decided to boogie on up!

so glad we got the chance!

it was fun to experience that part of cali,

a rural-country-hick-town part of cali :)

talk about the country!

ha! but it was a beautiful drive, a cute town (sonora), and a beautiful wedding day for her!

i'm so incredibly excited for her and glad to have another one of my friends joining the married club!

they're off to kuai! lucky gooses! i know they'll love all aspects of this weeks ;)

Good ol' Aspen Grove

tonight i worked in the kitchen at AG again.

i loved it.

and working with one of my most favorite people, a miss dyer, made it all the better

it's fun to get back into the groove of things and not miss a beat.

it's also great to work with other people who know exactly what to do too.

every time i work there i just reminisce of summer times

i loved it (90% of the time:).

here are some of the memories:

• cutting up 150 pounds of mashed potatoes all the time

• katie using salt instead of sugar for the 7 huge breakfast cakes...gross
• gutting fish...super gross...i really could never do it by the end of the summer, the nasty feel just freaked me out, bleh
• ingrid's funny stories of marijuana farming in canada

• annalise complaining every 5 minutes about whatever task she was doing
• bacon. death to bacon and death to when we had to inch them
• rolling all 770 rolls without the a/c on bc they "raised" better and didn't dry out (lies julie, lies)
• julie giving annalise dirty  looks
• flour fights (below)

• the horrible day we had to slice all the ham for sunday breakfast. WASTE OF MY TIME
• listening to many of the same summer songs over and over (aka dish room and kelly clarkson songs)
• pizza making with ingrid
• arguing over who got to cut pizzas (easy/fun job except if you get burnt, that equals no fun)
• emptying the nasty water crap under the bbq and spilling it all over me and stinking
• bbqing hot dogs and burgers on wednesdays with a hat and sunglasses and walking into the freezer when it got too hot
• LTOP's blehhhhhh
• annalise burning the alfredo sauce bahaha
• taste testing everything with spoons and giving our opinions
• lindsay's attitude woman vioce (that i have now obtained)

• pancake/french toast flipping mornings
• always getting in trouble by greg for washing the potatoes when making roasted reds
• annalise making nasty nasty looking grilled cheese
• death of chicken nuggets and dang quesadillas to adults and children
• plating pies
• death thursday night dinners and always trying to get out of them
• early morning walks to the kitchen and watching the sun turn the mountain gold
• having my hand hurt from cutting so much meat.
• lindsay and annalise always getting to make saturday cookies and i always did the dumb salad
• scotty bff
• california trip

• watching long bbc movies enforced on us by annalise
• working, playing, and living with all the same fun people that you love

• missing the one person all summer that i loved the most
• lover coming to AG in the summer to visit: best. day. of. the. summer. ever.

skiing adventures

We had so much fun this last saturday!

highlights of the day included

{1} Aspen Grove reunion

{2} cross country skiing or at least the attempt of

{3} night skiing at sundance with the Cutlers!

neither of us were any good and we (mostly i) fell so much but even casey had his falls
the scenery was beautiful
we even got to see janell for a sec out there!
and the scenery was beautiful!!!!!
loved it!

then immediately after cross country skiing we went skiing up at sundance with the CUTLERs!

such a blast!

casey and i have been lucky enough to have season passes 2 years in a row now!

we have so much fun every time we go up there

we both agree that we are so much better bc we get to go every week :)

this was our first experience night skiing at sundance and we approve.

although the back mountain was not open, it's still fun enough!

the company was the absolute best part!!!

the trip consisted of casey, kimber, mom c, dad c, derek, emily,

tayli, karlee, rachelle remsberg and her friend ryan!

ps- casey and i definitely slept 11 hours that night :)
