Lightbulbs, football, conference, outside time

All summer long there were these large lightbulbs all around the city celebrating/spreading awareness for a local organization that helps teens have beneficial after school programs instead of making mischief! There were 51 in total scattered throughout the city, it was super fun playing treasure hunt for these all summer. They ended the public art display recently and gathered all the lightbulbs in one place for everyone to view and then they auctioned them off! Max enjoyed the first 5 lightbulbs and didn't care about the other 46. We had a great time chasing him :)

This one below was my favorite, so pretty! Max insisted on taking the pictures for us half way through the night.

There was free balloon twisting at the event. Max definitely was SUPER excited to get his balloon.

This was the owl lightbulb just a few blocks from out house! We finally took a walk to it just days before it disappeared! It sold for $7500!!!!!

I got to go to a flag football game of Casey's! This is his last year getting to play on intramural football! They lost but it was fun to watch him. Casey made one super excellent catch that game that I got to see!!!!

We've been loving hanging out at this tiny park/green area next to the dental school while Max chases squirrels and birds!

More dad visiting during school breaks. How grateful I am for dental school being only a 7 minute walk from our house!

The babies are always trying to take things from each other. In this instance it was a ping pong ball in Quinn's mouth.

Maxson is the best at holding one of the boys while in the wagon! So cute to see. If the walk is too long Max will start telling me his legs hurt, ha.

One park day day it began pouring rain on us! We all squeezed under the little ramada area for about 15 minutes while all the wild 2 and 3 year olds ran crazy in the rain.

We also walk to an area on campus quite often with cows and horses to visit. Max loves it so much.These cows are seriously HUGE and SOOO interested in people, it's the funniest thing.

Yesterday I asked the sister missionaries to come over to my house and help me with some deep (and not so deep) cleaning. Oh man, was I ever so grateful for them! A bunch of the little things I've wanted clean got done thanks to their help, they were such a blessing! You should have seen my huge to do list and they crossed off every single one, loved them!!! Beyond that, I'm actually having tons of contractions but hopefully that doesn't mean much!

b. & c. We blew up the bounce house in the basement one day, it was hilarious. Good news, it will work for the winter down there!

d. Grocery shopping with dad leads to donuts at the store...

a. Came in to get Maxson from a nap one afternoon and found him like this…pulling the curtains open is his new favorite thing.

d. Fell asleep on the way to the grocery store, but the show had to go on. That 30 pounds of dead weight was probably much cuter to look at than to hold

a. One morning when Max woke up WAYYYYYY too early, I was desperate and let him watch Frozen on the iPad. You guys, I need my sleep these days ha.

c. Hanging out in the car. He loved this activity. Always insisting on turning on the DVD player but it never works, I don't know why he continues to try, ha.

a-b. Casey's on an intramural football team with a bunch of LDS dental and Law students, they all really enjoy it. They've only lost 1 game- the one all the wives came to watch, ha. It's funny because the whole team is much closer to their 30's and most the people they play are about 20, I just think it's funny

c. Proud wife and son even after a losing game (I did see his touchdown!)

d. Maxson was great at eating their post game snacks one of the wives brought, capri sons and cookies!!!

a. So my niece sent me Flat Stanley in them mail. They read a book about how Flat Stanley was squished by a bulletin board so his family would mail him to places he wanted to visit. So she mailed him to me and I showed him around Lincoln!

b. He went to the dental school and got a check up

c. He went to lots of playgrounds because Lincoln has the most amount of City parks/playgrounds in one city of the whole US

d. We were sad when we had to mail him back!

happy monday

a little bit of lately to start off the week!

starting top left going clockwise:
1. meli, the weenie dog, chasing the laser pen. why are dogs/cats so obsessed with those things? who cares, it's one of the funniest things ever.
2. the sky on our drive home from wyoming.
3. casey playing intramural football. they won. i also won my game last! go kimber :)
4. went golfing last week with the landscape management major on the mountain. twas grand.

2./4. trying to decide what we should be for halloween :) my MIL's costume box is superb.
3. painting new furniture that someone in provo donated to you. more to come later on that!

last week

like i mentioned earlier, we had so many things going on last week i didn't have a spare moment to blog!

the list goes as follows: 

4 test/quizzes for casey in organic chemistry (which=hard) and physiology (which=hard), he did fabulous.

5 test/quizzes for kimber in random classes

we tried going to fatcats for our free bowling bc the cougars scored over 30 points at their game 2 weeks,

they're dumb and didn't let us bowl bc it was past 9. boo

another night we went to texas road house bc it just opened here in orem!

pretty much we went so we just go eat all their rolls!

i'm pretty sure we got...8 batches...yummy!

and what we did order, we took home in left over boxes.

ps- texas roadhouse=fun suckers bc they don't let you take pictures inside except if the server is taking it of you. boo

but the cherry limeade and rolls made it worth it

then we went to the opening of HARRY POTTER!

we were beyond excited

we went with the best group possible of harry potter fans.

we're so happy nicole and brookie let us come along

activities included playing harry potter trivia and casting spells at other muggles.

the movie was wonderful too.

it stayed true to the book and did not disappoint a bit.

we loved it!

casey and i also had football games this week which we both lost :(

but, it was still fun to play!

i also had a relief society sleepover that i got to go to with the women in my ward,

seriously, such a blast.

best activity yet!

we stayed up way later than needed, played fun games, had lots of great converstations,

only had the fire alarm go off for 15-20 min, and just had the best time ever.

a cute girl in our ward, rachel, had a family cabin in midway we got to go to, no pic.

it was great to be able to just talk to all the women and not just for 2 hours and then have to go home.
