Lightbulbs, football, conference, outside time

All summer long there were these large lightbulbs all around the city celebrating/spreading awareness for a local organization that helps teens have beneficial after school programs instead of making mischief! There were 51 in total scattered throughout the city, it was super fun playing treasure hunt for these all summer. They ended the public art display recently and gathered all the lightbulbs in one place for everyone to view and then they auctioned them off! Max enjoyed the first 5 lightbulbs and didn't care about the other 46. We had a great time chasing him :)

This one below was my favorite, so pretty! Max insisted on taking the pictures for us half way through the night.
There was free balloon twisting at the event. Max definitely was SUPER excited to get his balloon.
This was the owl lightbulb just a few blocks from out house! We finally took a walk to it just days before it disappeared! It sold for $7500!!!!!
I got to go to a flag football game of Casey's! This is his last year getting to play on intramural football! They lost but it was fun to watch him. Casey made one super excellent catch that game that I got to see!!!!

"The old guys" team.
And a few more from General Conference the weekend before.!

ANNNNNNNNND some park/outside pictures of recently.

We've been loving hanging out at this tiny park/green area next to the dental school while Max chases squirrels and birds!
More dad visiting during school breaks. How grateful I am for dental school being only a 7 minute walk from our house!

The boy gang in our neighborhood.
The babies are always trying to take things from each other. In this instance it was a ping pong ball in Quinn's mouth.

And then the baby getting stolen from starts yell-screaming.
Maxson is the best at holding one of the boys while in the wagon! So cute to see. If the walk is too long Max will start telling me his legs hurt, ha.
One park day day it began pouring rain on us! We all squeezed under the little ramada area for about 15 minutes while all the wild 2 and 3 year olds ran crazy in the rain.

We also walk to an area on campus quite often with cows and horses to visit. Max loves it so much. These cows are seriously HUGE and SOOO interested in people, it's the funniest thing.

And the end :)

Park play

Have you realized we're in Wyoming? We are, if you didn't quite know. Casey has a 3 week externship for school that he was able to do in Green River, WY! So we're here hanging out with his family for 3 weeks! It's been mighty nice having so many extra hands to help with kids, babies in a separate room than us, more indoor space to play, and a fenced in backyard! The weather has been really great too, almost never hot (which to me is both good and bad if you get what I mean). Casey has had a really relaxed schedule at the dentist's office, and with less than a 5 minute drive to the office, he's comes home for lunch, hour breaks, patient cancellations, it's been pretty great. The kids have loved all the extra attention, seriously, everyone is so great with our kids and luckily they have no sense of stranger danger, glory. We've been making efforts to get out and about in this town each day, lots of new parks to play at, walking to the high school to run on the track (4 corner workouts from cross country days, holla!), going to the train station to watch the trains, splash pad, and library. We've really been trying to have a good time here and keep ourselves busy. The babies have been AMAZING sleepers here and are officially completely sleeping through the night, YAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Max has the time of his life playing outside so much since it's fenced in, and we've all just been pretty happy I'd say.

So onto one of our mornings at the park!

ALSO I am itching to do photography sessions for people these days! I've done a handful of newborn shoots this year but am so eager to do a bunch more sessions this year with end of summer/fall coming up. PLUS a certain wonderful husband of mine upgraded my camera equipment and I am so beyond stoked to use it a bunch! It's so fun for me to get behind the camera and capture cute moments of families, for real, even if that sounds cheesy. SO readers, if you are interested in any type of photo session don't be hesitant to ask me at all, just shoot me an email (kimberwo at gmail dot com). Usually my pricing is $50-$100 depending on details. To make sure you get your absolute favorite pictures, I send you all the pictures I take through dropbox you then pick your favorites for me to edit.

ARIZONA: I will be available the middle 2 weeks of August. Indoor family lifestyle shoots will help us all not melt from the heat (I've been itching to do these but no one jumps on the chance, so if anyone is interested in this it will be largely discounted. Think me following you and your family around for the morning capturing the sweet moments in your everyday life.)

NEBRASKA: I will be back and offering sessions the beginning of September for the rest of fall. Schedule your sessions now!

our spring break in indiana

for supposedly the last year this was our last opportunity to visit indiana! we do love visiting family and this trip did no disappoint. the adventurous casey persisted through my grumblings of not wanting to drive 11 hours with maxson and took us to indiana anyways. i'm so glad casey loves to travel because trips are always worth awful drive in the end.

parked it with the family which was stupendous

st. patrick's day! camille is so great at making lots of green things. we had the most scrumptious green lime cake, green chicken lemon garlic pasta, green mini german pancakes (some were green). most the kids did not like all the food colored green, ha. funniest part is that we colored the milk green and when i gave it to max he expected it to taste yummy (like from strawberry/chocolate milk mix), he wasn't happy that it didn't have a new fun taste, ha.

we're so lucky to have such good friends in our family members, i know maxson loved being around other children 24/7. he slept absolutely awful while there but has recovered since.
boy oh boy we love our family!!!
