1 month baby faves

For the life of me, I can't figure out why the background is not showing up white on this collage. Ohs a wells. At least I have this cool collage for you, so enjoy!!!

The babies are now 3 months old and these are still my favorite things. I really don't think there's anything new I'd add at this point, so make this a 1-3 months baby faves collage

1. WubbaNub. Pacifiers don't get lost as easily, they stay put when the babies done and we can tell whose pacificer is who's.

2.SwaddleMe. Whambam the swaddle is done and for the most part inescapable. Strong velcro, just a super great design! You can get by with 2 small/mediums and 2 larges per baby. And only get the cotton variety, not fleece, too hot!

3. Sound Machine. This one has some great sounds with great volume controls, we hope it helps drown the babies out for us and them, I'd say it works great

4. Aquaphor . Any sign of a red bum and out comes this puppy! We love aquaphor and swear by it for the best moisturizer/skin protector

5. Baby wraps! My mom just bought a huge piece of fabric and it works great! (We actually bored my friends Moby wrap for a double carrier when we traveled and I did not like the material very much at all, mine is much more loose and soft and not hot. My dream wrap would be the solly baby one!

6. Nosefrida. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST on my baby list. You can legitimately clean it out every time and it works so much better at getting out all the yuckies from your poor babies nose!

7. Rock 'n Play Sleeper. I've raved about it before but I truly think it's this item that has helped my babies consistently sleep 8-10 hours a night since right before 3 months. At 2 months they were sleeping 6-7 solid hours. It folds up really compactly, it's super comforting for baby, you can slightly rock it after putting down baby when they wake up a little. This and number 6 are by far my 2 favorite products I think every parent must get.

Beyond these items specially for winter babies:

8. Zippered sleepers. Don't buy anything other than zippered sleepers for up to size 0-3 months (even for 3-6 months in my case! It's way easier laundry and the most comfortable thing they can wear since they sleep 2/3+ of the day. Be realistic here and save all the cutesy things for when they're a wee bit older, I PROMISE. I'd say if you had 8-10 to rotate through you'd be good to go.

9. Bear Suits. At least that's what we call them. One big suit that covers their whole body (with cute little ears on top). Keeps them toasty warm and you don't have to worry about blankets when out and about. The babies always fall super fast asleep when in their bear suit!

these bibs

they're a nice sturdy but flexible plastic that you can easily wash under the faucet after each feeding.

it has that pocket to catch all the food that misses the mouth opening.

they're a great length and width (at least for my babe)

i'm sure they'll last for all my kids too.

1 problem: spaghetti sauce kinda stains them. it doesn't bother me. it fades after so many washes

this high chair

for some reason i thought having a high chair that swiveled would be awesome.

ha, it is kinda fun.

necessary? no of course not.

i really wanted a "space saver" chair and it has worked out great for us.

if i could have gotten this ikea one back with me i may have done it.

it has a really sleek design, really light weight, collapses nicely, and doesn't have crevices and stuff

but i would have bought this one too. simple cheap, easy.

these snack cups

everyone has them, they're great.

maxson proudly carries his cheerios around in it.

although he's not perfect at not making a complete mess with it, it gives him power and responsibility over what he's eating which i love.

these reusable pouches 

i love the concept of those squeezie pouches from the store.

but at $1+ each, i just can't/don't want to afford that.

we reuse these pouches all the time.

i buy the big jar/tubs of applesauce and yogurt to fill them up which is way less expensive.

also when i make myself smoothies, i put it in here to feed him with.

we're always taking these things on the go so there's little to no mess.

they're brilliant.

easy to clean.

hold a lot.

and i had 1 of the top ziplocs break on me so the company set me a whole new pack!

this is the cost effective way to go.

this mealtime stacking pillar

we also take these with us whenever we're out and about.

they too are brilliantly convenient

this sippy cup

there are tons of great sippy cups out there.

i just happened to buy this one.

it doesn't leak even when it's laying over.

max likes it so i like it.

but soon i'll be buying this water bottle for him so it can hold a little more and he can use it for years to come

these ikea cups, plates, and bowls.

easy, cheap, cute, microwavable, great design.

(they're cheaper if bought directly at ikea, i didn't buy the utensils, and i also have 2 sets of all the plates, bowls, cups so i'll have 12 matching ones for multiple kids etc)

and we just bought these forks

baby spoons are so cheap and easy to find.

forks, not so much.

why is this?

i decided to get metal forks instead of plastic ones so they "stab" more easily and last longer.

we shall see

raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

staring at these raindrops is most definitely one of maxson's top 5 favorite things.

changing his diaper can take up to 15 minutes we want,
because he'll just lay there and stare at the raindrops for forever.
sometimes we take him in here for no other reason than to just look at the raindrops.
laying here is also where we're bound to get lots of happy noises and smiles.
9 times out of 10 they turn a sad face into a happy one.
i feel like i should put raindrops up all over the whole house,
but we don't want to wear out a good thing.

so glad i made this project,
and so glad my mom actually hung it up for me when she was here, ha.
