This past Sunday, We blessed Maxson in Arizona. I thought I would post my point of view of the whole thing because I think Kimber will put on all the pictures and tell her side of the day. We decided to do the blessing in Arizona because it is warmer, almost all of Kimber's family are down here and we will be around Nebraska/Wyoming over the next 7 years so there will most likely be a child blessed sometime around my family. Anyways it was a special day and we had been so busy we didn't even remember to buy a little outfit for him. We had picked up a childhood outfit my mom had that they blessed some of us boys in, but we kind of wanted to get a little bit of memory for ourselves by buying an outfit. Anyways we forgot about it on our trek from Wyoming to Arizona and so we called up a sister-in-law that had an outfit and decided to use that one. It was pretty adorable! The blessing really went pretty quick, and I was glad that we had family in the circle. Max was really good throughout the whole meeting just staring around at all the lights on the ceiling. Kimber was asked to give her testimony. She really is a spiritual woman that understands God's plan a whole lot better than I do. Our kids will be greatly blessed to have her as a mother.
Anyways we had a little lunch and dinner later during the day and took a few pictures to document this special day. We are grateful to have such wonderful family to support and love us. We are grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives and we know he lives!

our christmas 2012
christmas in wyoming was truly magical this year.
we were crazy enough to drive all the way to wyoming with our brand new little 2 week old.
2 weeks!
he was so little back then, looking back i can't believe we traveled so early on.
the whole family made it to wyoming which was spectacular.
it was one full house.
and noisy too, ha.
apparently it was freezing outside...i wouldn't really know since max and i stayed inside like the whole time.
there were lots of fun activities going on but what i mostly remember was nursing, putting max to sleep, and taking naps.
literally.
here's a few (raw) pictures to prove we were there.
christmas trees everywhere in the cutler home.
every year i say i'll count them and every year i don't...
this is technically casey's tree, the santa themed one

baby brielle is an absolute doll.
smiles everywhere for everyone.
with any energy i could muster to give to other children while max was sleeping, she usually got it, ha.
yes, these 3 are brothers.
so similar yet so different.
as a wife, i love seeing casey interact with them.
this animal gave me the heebeegeebees every time i went down stairs.
it was GINORMO
like pregnant kimber ginormo!
on christmas eve casey's mom put together a whole special activity/program for the family which included crafts for the kids, books read by uncles, testimonies given of Heavenly Father's love, songs, cowboy hats, and the nativity.
it was so fun to watch and be apart of.
the men boys inthe family decided to make tayli, the 17 year old sister's, car into a ginormous sculptured pig...
they were so proud,
though she was not amused.

tim tam slamming it up.
boy are those suckers RICH but so good!
sledding
i didn't take any pictures of christmas morning but it was one to be remembered.
by the time maxson and i came down stairs there was wrapping paper everywhere,
new toys scattered,
all the family gathered into one small area,
new electronics being opened and admired,
children with smiles,
and adults/parents admiring on.
other mentionables:
freezing weather the whole time.
the noise.
waffle stick christmas morning.
family caroling.
the game of things.
small children zumba-ing.
snow.
sick children/adults.
children doing puzzles.
family pictures (which i will post soon!)
and laughing :)
i loved our time spent in wyoming for christmas with the cutlers!
and a GINORMOUS thank you to mom C. who took care of us for nearly two weeks.
best part about traveling to someone's house when your baby isonly 2 weeks old?
no cleaning, cooking, organizing, or to-do lists.
thank you.

the progression of the baby bump
it's so funny to look back at pictures when i was pregnant.
i remember at 38/39 weeks looking at previous pictures thinking "oh you were so small at x weeks!"
and also thinking "i'm not that big right?"
now that i'm not pregnant anymore i look at all these pictures, especially that bottom row and think
"holy moly, kimber! you were SO big!"
ha, i'm so glad maxson arrived so healthy though.
at times i miss being pregnant
it really was so fun to watch your body change.
it's amazing that God has created women's bodies to adapt and grow a human being inside!
those first few weeks i was constantly looking at maxson thinking
"you used to be in me! you are so big!"
do enjoy the progression of the bump:
**note to self and others:**
i distinctly remember posing in a way for the last half of these pictures so i didn't look HUGE in front of the camera, which i truly was.
i will not be posting the true profile 39 week picture because i promise you (cough cough lyndsey..) will see me one day and say "kimber! you were so big! holy hannah! i can't believe how big you got!" and i will think in my mind "thank you for reminding me how large how i had gotten" but will say out loud "i know, crazy, huh?"
sometimes i would look at the pictures casey took and immediately say "oh my goodness, i look GINORMO! take some more" and i would stand differently so you couldn't fully see the straight up profile largeness.
so future pregnant kimber and other pregnant friends: do not compare yoursleves to these pictures. they are decieving at times and everyone/every baby grows differently :)
just enjoy the ride of pregnancy and maxi dresses/leggings/belly bands.
cheers.

more of our first week home
more pictures of our first week home!
(let me tell you how hard it is to keep up on all the TONS of photos i've taken in the past 2 weeks!)
don't get me wrong, i'm always picking up the camera for a "what a cute picture!" moment,
keeping up is a different story.
it's not too often that you have 2 spare hands and when you do, it's nice to eat.
but documenting life (especially these first parts of his life!) are so important to me!
tummy time
super sad to super happy
(not a lover of baths to say the least)
